steering stabilizer/ 400ex to 450R

Will my steering stabilizer off my 400ex fit my new 450R? It is a Denton rebuildable.

its the correct length but the trx stem has a larger diameter shaft and i dont thin the bracket will fit it

The frame tubes are larger as well....

They are selling new brackets but for the cost of those you might as well buy a new one.

make a metal tab and weld it to the stock stearing stem the other end will bolt to the frame
