300ex power and eccel.

300ex with 1000 hours thinkin about doin the rings and pistons. friends say while i do this i might as well get it port and polished, any coments....or should i go father...if ya have any ideas for hard ridden bike let me know. looking to up power and accel.

If your going to tear it apart, i would either go with boring it... or at least high compression piston no more than 10.8:1 if you wanna run 92octane pump gas still some say 11:1 but it seems more say no higher then 10.8 so that's what im saying! and a cam.. and get a mild port and polish.... With a port though to totally compliment that you would need a bigger carb i believe!
