semi auto clutch ajustment?

Any of you have a manual that tells how to adjust the semi auto clutch on the Honda’s (250 ex / rancher / foreman) I have a 2001 Rancher ES. I know it has to do with the screw and locking nut on the front of the trans, but I want to know the procedure. If you have a manual could you post some instructions?

Loosen the Locknut turn the screw clockwise until it gets hard to turn.Then turn counterclockwise until it gets hard to turn back off just a little about 1/16 to 1/8 turn and then retighten the locknut while holding screw.Hope this helps

so Tighten the screw till hard, loosen the screw till hard then go back in the tighten direction to back off 1/16 - 1/8? is this correct

Sorry for not replying sooner but yea that is correct looked in a service manuel and my MMI book should fix ya right up .
