K & N air filter

I tried to order a K & N air filter today through Rocky Mountain ATV and noticed that the price online was $49.99 compared to their advertised price in the catalog for the 450R was only $34.99.

I also just wanted to let you guys know that K & N has a filter now made specifically for the 450R, part# HA-4504. The filter for the 400EX is HA-4099 and Rocky Mountain said that alot of customers were having problems with the filter for the EX.:mad:

I ordered a k&n from rocky and just got it yesterday i installed it but havent ran it yet. Do you need to rejet with a k&n. BEcause lrd was saying that it should be rejetted with just a k&n!

yes you will have to rejet...a k&n brings in more air than a normal foam filter.

Crap.. that's so cheap. I ordered directly from k&n and it was nearly 80 bucks. I ordered 2nd day air and still haven't gotten it from over a week ago now. They must not be in stock or something.. It sucks too because I am going to the sand on Wednesday, and still don't think they are done processing my order.
