how do i improve the looks

ok i got a 1997 300ex and i want to improve the looks. i have already planned to paint the frame, get new plastic, get some new tires and wheels, new exhaust, new handgruads, new seatcover,and get a set of AC nerfs. is there anything else that would make it look nicer, and does any one have any ideas for frame color.

blue w/ white plastic!!! lol, that's what i want to do to mine atleast... blue/white, and polished aluminum everywhere possible

i seen a orange frame on a 400 on here it looked Sweet thats what i think ima have done to mine don't knwo what color plastic tho i was thinking a white or silver...mabie a yellow

are those 400ex shocks on your 300ex, if they are, how hard was it to do, and how does it handle now

for my front end i added 400ex spindels, 400ex +2+1 a-arms, 400ex tie-rods, and custom made 14 1/2" TCS shocks...overall i think it handles good but you can feel a little bumpersteer...not as much as eveyrone says though...

Do you also notice that with the 400ex spindles that it has a huge turning radius? :eek2: I had to switch back to the 300 spindles so it could still turn in the woods.

300exOH yes i did notice that...but i never ride woods with it so i didn't really mind...

I see. The coversion just wasn't working for me so I switched to 300ex +2+1 Burgard arms with 400ex length Elka's and the shockmount. I haven't had much seat time but it feels much better so far.

i wanted to get some +3 a-arms with the 400ex mount but it is illigal for the youth production class that i race..

i was thinking of doing the switch but i didn't know how it would handle. im going to wait until the end of race season to see if i want to get rid of my 300 because i don't think it has to many more races in it. im hoping by the end of this season i will have enough money saved up to get a 400ex in better shape then my 300, but if i don't im going to fix up my 300 the best i can.
