stupid question. quiet exaust

Would a cars muffler slipped on the end of the header (where the atv muffler connects) make it pretty quiet? I was thinkin of tryin it for street riding

Just use your stock exhaust.If you dont have one,place a ad for one in the want ads on this site,you should get a lot of responses.And CHEAP!!!

if you dont have the stock exhaust you could always look on ebay. i have seen many stock 400ex exhausts for $1 or so. but that would be the easiest and probably the quietest.
