sparks 8-plate clutch

Just installed my new clutch. Anyone else have any problems with these when new? I pull in the clutch all the way and it wants to go. Not just creep but go, enough to kill the engine. Maybe just because it is so fresh and not warmed up enough? Thanks in advance guys.

these clutches want to go a lot sooner than the stock clutch. i would just make sure you have about 1/4 inch slack in your lever and you should be good to go.

Sounds like you don't have everything adjusted correctly. :cool: I had to adjust my cable at the lever and down at the clutch for ti to work properly..
