HRC + Pipe?

Has anyone installed a HRC kit and ran it that way, then later installed an aftermarket full system exhaust? How much of an improvement was the pipe after the HRC kit, if any at all? I have ridden an HRC equiped 450 and a piped 450 without the HRC kit and personally feel that the HRC kit felt better. What are your thoughts.

Im about to go from just piped 450, to HRC and piped 450... Ill tell you MY results when I get it installed...:cool:

after i bought my 450 i installed the hrc kit, it seemed to really wake it up midrange to open but not much on the bottom, then i installed a hmf full system and yhe increase in torque and bottom end horse was incredible it smoothed out the power and really brought the whole package to life.

when you add a pipe to an hrc kit do you change the jetting or leave it?

I agree with unclebuck, I did the exact same thing, but a LRD system,. I had the same results. I went one size bigger on the main.

hrc cam and sparks complete system.up one jet size.it makes AAAALL THE DIFFRENCE IN THE WORLD..
