Ok, heres the deal, I need a new frame, and I was going to get a 250r/CRF frame, sell my engine, and get a 450. I was going to go with a Lonestar frame, but they said they only offer it in a NO-LINK setup! And i already have a link setup, and cant afford to switch over! Is this true? And if so is there anywhere else I can get a link crf frame?

I think Arens, and Herrmann Racing both have it.

The Arens CRF frame is based off of the 400ex. That would not work real well for you. As far as I know he does not currently have a 250r style CRF frame, but call him and see what he says.

JB Racing or JRD might be able to help you out!

Yeah, i just talked to Jon, he said he could give me a good deal, BUT... theres always a BUT  He said that he could sell me a 250r frame, and he has had people send them to East Coast ATV, and they made them fit a crf. I have to talk to them and see if they can do that for me or not. And anothe rbut, the CRF engine sits to high, so they cant offer it in a link, and for the counter shaft to sit as far back as possible, they need the swing arm to go threw the moto, so, my swingarm wouldnt work, but Jon Arens can get me one pretty cheap. But then if I would need a new shock....?

I am going to call WCATV, and see what they say. Any ideas?

i've never heard of a std link 250r frame with a 450f motor...

everyoen is a 500 link, 450f link, or no link...

u may want to try gibson, JB, viper, lovin, houser(pretty sure its no link)... or go to a 500 linkage...

Viper only makes CRF frames in 400ex geometry.

JB racing can pretty much build anything you want. I have a YZ 450 (4 speed) in one of his frames. The rear end accepts 400 ex Linkage but still uses 250R AXLE, Carrier etc... My front end is setup to take a 250R Protrax. Heres the # 814-922-3523 ask for Jody.

As of right now I am going to try to work a deal out with Arens, and East Coast ATV. See if i can get a frame, and swingarm. Then send it to ECATV, and see if they can moddify it for the crf, they said they did it before for a 426, but the crf is a lot taller. All I can do is cross my fingers.

Thats a nice frame Chef, what is it for?
