Best tire for a atc350x?

My buddy has a '86 atc350x and is in desperate need of rear tires. He has 8 inch rims and wants something for trail-riding and hill-climbing. He's not worried so much about cornering hard or mx...just wants the tire that will hook-up best in a straight line.
What do you recommend?

I have Puresports Realtors on my 86 350X. Excellent in the snow, sand, mud and not too bad on the hardpack. They wear like iron, too. This is the second set I've had on there. They lasted about 3 years. I gave them to a buddy who is still using them. Plus they're reversable.

i have holeshot xc (the old style) on mine..........they work well....for me anyway.
