For my next quad i was either thinking of getting a yamaha warrior, or raptor, or the Honda 400ex. I was thinkin the 400ex. But i ride a lot tight woods and i need the reverse. ?????????????

reverse?, people who can't drive in a stright line need reverse, not trying to make fun but i think it is a waste of weight, i have never had to get off my large ***** to turn my self around, but i race mx, so for trails i am not sure.

the only reason i didnt buy a 400ex, is because it didnt have reverse. i use reverse i lot where i ride, and i like knowing the fact i can just throw it in reverse, and not get off my lazy @$$!
yes i would like more power...thats why i bought a lt.250:D

Get the 400ex all the way. I ride woods all day long and you learn to work without it. Forget about the warrior entirely, you'd be better off keeping your 250X. The Raptor is a nice machine but the 400 owns the Raptor in the woods.

How wide is your 250x with the +4 axle compared to the others?
Reverse would be nice, but it isn't necessary unless you're a wuss:p
Like Scott said, check into the Z400.

my quad is a lot wider than any stock 250X or 300ex that i have ever seen which makes it a little bit harder to get through tight spaces. thanks for the input

I've read the above so many times over the last three years. Honda could have cleaned house if the 400 had reverse. You can bet they won't make the same mistake on their new sport quad. I wish my 400 had reverse, but it doesn't. oh well.

jazz up ur 250x wit shox, and a 300 or 330 kit, and a good pipe, itl kill a warrior, hav reverse like a 300ex, adn be kool.
