View Full Version : My new toy (isn't exactly a quad but it does have 4 wheels)

I signed a purchase agreement one evening for a new 2004 Z71 and was waiting overnight to hear back from the bank (since it was after 9 PM) on my financing rate. My father calls me that night when I get home from the dealership and says that he wants a new truck as well and he'd be willing to sell me his. To make a long story short, I got my $1000 down payment back from the dealership and picked up my Dad's 2000 Z71. Nothing fancy...yet <cough>Skyjacker lift/WAAG brushguard<cough>

oh, let us know when you get the vette, then will talk.

Nice ride though, I really want to get rid of my car so I can get a truck again.

Sweet truck Guy! Looks like we have twins, except I'm Indigo blue/pewter. If you have any questions, let me know. I also have a spreadsheet somewhere with all common parts that need to be replaced over time (light blubs..etc) with part numbers as well as a fluid capacity chart.... I'll see if I can dig it up.

I'm going to put the 2500 hood on it. It's a direct bolt on and only runs about $270 at the dealership.

this is something I've been thinking about doing.... I love the HD hood from 00-03... I'm not crazy about the new ones.
