Anybody had their stock 400EX rear shock revalved by DeRisi? I'm a aggressive XC rider. Hoping it will help. The stock rear has a nasty tendency to "buck" up when hitting certain objects. It also lands likes a ton of bricks off of jumps 5ft or higher when I do my occasional trip to the MX track. I just got some Works Tripple-Rate fronts revalved by DeRisi (Pro Mil) and added adjustable DeRisi ressies off of Ebay. This should fix the front, but now looking to fix the rear w/o breaking the bank. I'm hoping that the DeRisi rear revalve will make a significant difference. He quoted me $270 for the Pro Millenium revalve amd new spring. Thanks!!!

it will be an amazing improvment over stock!!!!!
it was very soft san soaked up all the small stuff on the xc track I could crank up the compresion and it felt good on the MX track as well.

had him do my rear shock but still have stock spring & dont notice much of an improvement...i just bought a 250r spring that should soak up more bumps...i ride tight trails & weigh 135 lbs. & told him to make it to where I could sit on seat...I still can't...the fronts are AMAZING though

I'm doing the spring. It's only $20 or $30 more. At 135 lbs, I'm not surprised it's bucking you off. That factory spring is prob setup for a 160 - 180 lbs person....

he said my eibach spring was $100 :eek2: :eek2: :eek2:

I know when i had my done about 3 years ago the spring was around $85. I don't think I had the pro millinium kit either in my rear I think it was just revalved. I am not sure it has ben a while and I didn't know much about anything at that time!

Anyone know what the turnaround time is to have this done? I'm thinking of sending out my 250r rear shock when I get back from Georgia.

mine was exactly 2 weeks from the day I sent it out.....this was right before xmas

Santo told me on the phone I should have it in about a week and a half after he gets it. So 2 weeks from the time you ship it is about right. I sent mine via FedEx ground for $6. They said that it would make it there in two days. Funny because it was about $20 or so to ship it FedEx 2 day and ground gets there at the same time. I was going to ship it 2 day and I asked how long ground would take. Go figure....

lol, even when we are shipping things we are racing. thats good times.

i sent mine ground ups. for around 6 bux.

TRacking says that mone should be there tomorrow. I think im going to win cause UPS delivers earlier than FedEx. hehe.

Thought it was the other way around. Thought Fed Ex typically delivered before UPS. Mine is "out for delivery" according to the Fed Ex tracking site.

I must say that Santo is the man! Talk about great customer service. He responds to email. Talks directly to you when you call (not somebody else talking to you) and the turn-around is about 2 weeks. Oh, his products are well known to be top notch. What the he11 else could you ask for????

Has anyone in here used the rear revalve for motocross? I don't ride cross country and was thinking about this revalve. Most of what I've read on here about them is about cross country performance.
