has anyone taken the spark arrestor plate off? and if so does it make a difference how many plates you run, after removing the spark arrestor? what are people running for combo's on their pipe?

If you take the spark arrestor off you no longer have any back pressure and you defeat the purpose/design of the pipe. With decreased backpressure you will loose bottom end torque. I ran without a spark arrestor for awhile, but it was loud and I lost bottom end. Right now I run with 12 plates...I am getting 6 more plates and longer screws just to give it a try.

I am running my 400ex w/ cam at 152 main/ 40 pilot. I am getting an e series slip on, and taking off my airbox lid off. What would my best bet be on main jet? Any input would be appreciated.

What cam do you have? I would probably start around 155 and move up from there.
