Man I don't know where you guys are buying trailers but I got my 6 1/2 x 12 for 575 otd brand new here in Indiana at this little mom and pop car dealer around the corner. Tilt bed very sturdy with a huge axle and 15 inch wheels and tires. If you want me to check I can maybe have him get you one. I can always take pics and send tthem to you.

meangreen-

Check to see if he will ship to Maryland, 20646. I will add in a few bucks for your leg work as well....

Send me pics if he does? mark517@verizon.net

I can get good, sturdy steel trailers with drop down load gates with "lift assist", 24" mesh sides so you can haul other things, 15" wheels and all the other goodies for $1200 out the door all day long here, however look around the country and see them for 1/2 that as you said. (hint- go to ebay and look who is selling what and then at their websites to see what I am talking about)

I am guessing (hoping) that Pappy's trailer is aluminum or enclosed for that price which is overkill for me- have a truck and only want a trailer to go on trail rides and so on- not dragging it all over the US racing or any of that stuff.

Looking for a trailer that I will use 4-6 times a year for a good price- too much of a pain to load in the back of my truck so figured a trailer would solve that problem..

i don't remember how big mine was.. something pretty big... it fit my honda 400ex sideways with nerfs and my buddies xr250 strait with some room for two gear bags in the back.. i sold it for 350$, i think it was worth 700$ but i couldn't find anyone to buy it for like 2 months :(
had a metal swing up gate too
