dual rate w/ rezzy

does anyone run elka or tcs dual rate with resivouir front shocks? i want to get a nice set but i want to buy new ones and cant afford the fully modded triple rate ones because i need to buy other parts too. would these be better than say a triple rate without rezzy? im going to be doing some mx but nothing crazy, just riding the tracks with freinds. if i ever do start getting into the racing, i can have them rework them to be better right?

Elka triple rate is only $35 more than the dual rates!

wow! i did not know that.. what i was thinking is i might get a set of elka triple rate without rezzies and then after a while i can save and add rezzies later on if i find i need them. this is possible to do right, i heard its like 300 to add rezzies so i can decide if i need them after a while. what is an estimated price that the elka triprates without rezzies run? sorry for all the q's

I think Jeff sells them for $525. I'm thinking about getting a pair from him for my r, and then having the stock rear rebuilt.

its so hard to decide weather i should start buying stuff like shocks and aarms and axle for the 400 or just save up the money and give my dad the 400 and try to get a 450. its so intimadating seeing these 400exs with 4-5 grand in them being killed by the 450s. i dont know yet but thanks for the info

idk man, it's so hard to make that desicion, but i'd have to say try to get the 450. but idk, i mean you'll love you 400 after u put shocks on it, but you'll worship the 450 once u ride it. lol
