A freind of mine had one on his 300ex. The mounting bolt that mounts it to the grab bar fell out and the pipe bent in half and it now has a hole.

that dont really classify as a problem with the pipe..

more of a problem with your bolts/mounting system

the only prob I had is a little bit of the packing blew out the front.
other than that the pipe is awsome

i just got one havnt rode the bike with it yet mods are 440 big bore web 450/451 cam and ported head and it had the stock pipe on it so im hoping to see a big difference :eek2:

I broke 3 sparks pipes on my YFZ so far, and I am now on my 4th. They crack around the area where the head pipe meets the sliencer. I think its because they used a thin metal, small weld, and it does not hold up at all.

Plus there customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.

I cant seem to get mine jetted right.Its backfiring and the hp is gone..Can anyone help with main,pilot jets info??

I agree, I just spent $160 dollars getting my piece of crap fixed.
If I didn't live down under I would shove it up their-----

i have thew full x - 6 stainless and the exhast comes out the back of the silencer where it meets the pipe

My X-6 the inside rotted and then blew out. 70 bucks for a "rebuild"....guess my 491 was too much.....

try a 155 mainjet and a 40 pilot jet at 2.25 turns out on the fuel skrew.

My x 6 is leaking exhaust where the header goes into the intake,could this be the reason my hp is gone??

thats what i was wondering. i think he may have meant where the header goes into the head. if that is the case, change those Cu crush washers in the head.
