Anybody mount their own tires on beadlocks. I gave it a shot this weekend but no luck, all i managed to do was get the old ones off. Ive seen tire tools out there but do any of them work.

Ya, its very easy. What problems are you having?

If they are beadlocks they are very very easy. al you have to do is take the bead off puch that side through the tire. you may have to use a screwdriver to help pry it on. after you have one side of the tire on just bolt you ring back on and pnich the other bead of the tire!

yeah the beadlock side is pretty easy, its the inside bead thats giving me fit. Ok the tire has that wire inside that runs around for the bead. The inside of the rim towards the edge starts to flare out then and that wire sits in that groove to make the bead. How do you get the tire to clear that flare and set the bead. I know beating the hell out of it with a rubber mallet doesnt work.

Once you have the ring bolted on air it up and the other bead should 'pop' into place.

Just spray a little wd-40 on it and shoot the air to it, it should pop right on.

Take the valve core out spray a little starting fluid in it light a match and stand back. only do this if you can't get the tire to take air!!!!!!!!

I've seen somebody do that on one of the 4x4 expedition rides. I think it was the Turtle Expedition. he had those monster BFGoodrich tires and he needed to reseat on and just lit it up with lighter fluid. awesome spectacle but i bet you mess that up your hurting.
