I'v decided that im finally gonna keep my 250x, but id like it to go just a little bit faster. Could anyone tell me some upgrades that dont cost more than $500 that would make a noticable difference.

pipe would give u the most inprovement...for the best gains i would get a sparks if i was u. but DONT get a cobra. i also lie the hmf s/o.and my k&n filter inproved my power alot

DO NOT GET A COBRA, they are communists!! This summer im gettin a HMF and either k&n or uni filter, havent decided. that wood prolly be ur best bet.

If I were you, I'd look for a new avatar! Don't think it will last long on here, and if you wait for the mods to change it, well might be too late. Just friendly advice, take it, or leave it.

I would go with a pipe first. After that a high comp piston and a cam help the 250/300's out quite a bit.
