not long ago my nieghbor gave me 2 honda 200x's. And i'm going to restore one and use parts from the other. the first pic is what it looked like when i got it and the 2nd pic is after i painted the fram swingarm etc... and the 3rd pic is where i am at now. i will keep this updated as i go along..

thanks for the replies guys. As far as right now i'm gonna use that exhaust. i'm going to use that engine. But so far i have 7 bucks in the whole thing and thats just spray paint. I'm gonna try and not to put any money into it. When and if i get the thing running i might buy some stuff for it.

lookin good so far i just completly restored a 1985 honda 200s for my uncle he had the new plactic which was givin to him and i took it from his mountain house and did the whole resto in 1 week it only cost me about 50 to 100 dollars to do it. I didnt take pics which was dumb but i hope you have good luck with the 200x and getting that done. post more pics as your going!

nah i havent messed with the motor yet. I need to finish putting back together my sisters ald car before i tear anything apart. I know water went over the engine during the hurricane and i know i will need a left case because its cracked, looks like chain came off and hit it

if its not that bad just get a good welder to weld the crack that is what most people do when that happens

that looks sweet....are you gonna get any aftermarket parts on it....like a dg or cobra pipe(isn't that all they had)?

when i get the thing running i might get after market parts but i doubt it. I'm gonna get a seat cover and shock boots for sure though.

i ordered new shock boots, so they should be in so. I cleaned up the pegs and painted them, and i also cleaned the skid and painted it. I will have pictures as soon as the shock boots get in and i have them on:D

hey,my 400 set out side for a yeaer and all i had to do to get it runing was new plug and clean the carb,maby yours will be the same:D

heres a picture to get an idea whats it looks like with the seat and gas tank. Nothing is fastened , so thats why it doesnt look exactly right. I'm think i'm gonna get the stock honda decals for the tank. I'm gonna get a new seat cover for sure.

your handlebars look bent, you should get some $20 moose bars for it, thats what i got on my 350x

they are bent...i will buy some handle bars if i get the thing running..but 20 bucks doesnt sounds too bad,
