300ex chain loose

How do i tighten my chain on my 300ex. Or take out a link if i have to?

ok on the back of the quad by the swingarm you will notice to allen key bolts,loosen them two up...and brb imma get a pic it easier to explain

ahh here you can see the two allen key bolts...well one of them,and the the left of the first allen key bolt you see

you can see this disc type thingy with two openings in them,it actually has four but can only see two in the picture...here is where you want to stick a screwdriver in the hole,something that won't bend alot and turn it....it will be a lil hard so put some muscle into it...and i forgot which way it is....i think if you pull it towards you it will get tighter...post a relpy if you don't understand and let me know how it goes

OoO....so did you try that on your chain yet?and you got any mods to your 300?

no cause i had to leave rite after i posted it, so im gonna do it tomorrow... i have renthal handle bars, graphics, and itp rims. Nothing speacial.

Not sure im thinking about getting a raptor 400ex or z400. I would get the 400ex but it has no reverse and where i ride you need reverse so im not sure.

why do you need reverse? can you not ride? dont get the raptor either...they are garbage'

don't get a craptor w/e you do...go with the 400ex,kfx 400,z400 all good quads

Yea , you need reverse around here because its all trails and only 1or 2 tracks. So if you get stuck reverse helps alot
