Has Anybody raced this one or know anything about it? How does it compare to The Flying Dutchmen hare scrambles?


Oh, Btw I finished 4th in Vet B ATV class this past Sunday at Flying Dutchmen.....and My buddy Jeff finished 9th in OPEN C ATV..MAN WAS IT MUDDY!!!I have the other results if anybody is interested.

Its nothing like the Dman..... Foot of the Mountain is a REAL XC Harescramble type track..

brown dirt,roots,ruts,rocks and trees. Ohh and the entire track is a hillclimb!!!;)

Bring some spares and pack a lunch, the race is not till 2:30..

Foot of the Mnt. is a bit of a drive for a D6 race but its a fun challenging track.

BTW the Dman was a lil muddy this past week. I got 3rd in A class on my YFZ, got the holeshot and led for a while till Jarred McLure got by and took the win.

myself and derno24 will be there also. it's my first time racing there.

i finished 6th and derno finished 11th in open c. those bottlenecks saved me cause i was last after the second corner. there's got to be at least 40 pounds of mud on my dale. too cold and windy to wash it though.

It took me 2 hours to hose off that Dutchmen mud! man, i think I may have to go wash it one more time. When I got off of the quad after the race i could barely stand....had to have 50lbs of mud on me....lol....

I just realized that this coming Sunday is Easter....I cant make Foot of Mountain :(

how hard is the track comparted to dutchman and rausch

how big are the hills??

Dutchman is the fastest track in the series, but not really xc the other races are xc. Ft of the Mt is on par with Rausch and can be easier or more difficult depending on how they run the course. It can be extremely rough and tight in some spots. I like this course when it isn't super wet.

dman was my first race it was great. then on lap 2 my spark plug
melted on the top thread. i got to watch the race from the side of the track near the back woods i had a blue yfz. cdrookie i might have been next to you on the start. oh a not good 31 place but not last.

Some azzhole took off before the race even started.

if you have reinforced rims get covers. my wheels were completely full and the rocks keep the dirt in.

John better than half of us stayed behind. I can't believe you followed him. As for the mud it took 2 days and alot of water to get the quad somewhat clean. As for finish I know I would have done alot better, but I kept getting jammed in traffic. I guess I gotta work on that...

i'm kind of hoping for some rain. sorry J, but i'm doing a rain dance from now till sunday. it evens the odds. i'm up on derno 2 races to 1 and with him taking the dale, he's got the handling AND hp advantage. plus, i've never been there and don't know what it'll be like.

Was it that deuch on the predator that took off way before like last time?? Hey derno how did you do last race, I couldnot make it had some troubles with the carb. Can you pm me or link me to some directions thanks alot, looking forward to seeing you and all the other exriders at the next race. Yzroostinya see the excuses are taking over I can wait to take you in the woods where i can give you alittle more compition, bye the way thanks john "yzroostinya" for stoping over and helping me fix the quad up!

Here is yo race report muddy, not alot of people showed cause of the messy weather, and easter. Probably about 30 started the race and about 10-15 finished. Is that ok Joe? j/k!!:D

I thought it was a cool day of riding up until I was stupid and forgot to put gas in the quad and stalled the quad and couldn't get her to restart!
