Dirtbike clutch problems.

I have a yz80 here, at my house... (its my cuzins but im using it) and when you pull in the clutch when in a gear, it doesnt roll, its like its still in gear, but it doesnt try to move or anything?

I cant figure out why its doing this.. anyideas? :confused:

every mx bike ive ever seen did that i had my 2002 kx100 same day i bought it and it didnt roll when the clutch was pulled and it was in gear and the bike wasnt runnin same with my 250f. my buddy has a brand new cr125 it dont roll. i think its normal

I'm almost positive when I had my KX80 that when I pulled in the clutch it would roll freely. Try adjusting your clutch cable...unless it isn't supposed to move like hessianmx111 stated.

Yeah, it's pretty much normal. You can play with the adjustments on the cable though, and probably get it to roll..

if it won't roll you're gonna have a wrecked clutch within a few riding sessions.

go get it looked at.

i rode the kx for almost two years and it never had any clutch problems

the clutch is all the way in , like where it pulls on the motor, its as far as it can go ?? so i dunno, i'll jsut leave it.. maybe inform my cuzin about it and tell him to get it checked out.

but for now .. :devil: weeee 2stroke's are so fun.. i wanna trade my 400ex for a 250r now :eek:

i dont like 2 strokes lol my yz doesnt move easily with the clutch in in gear:confused:
