Hard decision to make! I am thinking about selling the "race" quad so that i can get a "work" quad. I have found that i no longer have time to utilize my 400ex. So, i am thinking about selling it and getting a 4x4 instead. I am wondering what i might expect to get for mine...

2001 400ex (all papers)
Elka SSD front shocks (180lb XC)
DMC Alien (have extra repack kit)
K&N filter w/outerware (with full jet kit)
Rental bars w/ ProDesign kill switch
Galfer SS front brake lines
MSR clutch perch w/ ProGrip lever
DG alloy series nerfs
PRM full belly skid plate
Parking brake delete w/ ProDesign block-off
20x6x10 Holeshot MX fronts on ITP Baja wheels (look brand new)
18x10x9 Holeshot MXR rears mounted on factory wheels (look brand new)
Stock front and rear tires/wheels (1/2 tread life)
Shaved front fenders.

Everything elses on the quad is stock. The machine is in PERFECT running condition. I have used it in 3 XC rqces and 3 MX races. Not one problem has arisen since it came out of the crate. It has seen only Mobile 1 (red cap) since break in, and i have changed the oil frequently.

2 questions. What is the quad worth "as is"? Would i make more if i demod the quad back to stock and sell the aftermarket stuff seperate?

Give me your thoughts!

if its in great condition, it will be worth about $2800-3200 (stock) i would say. with all the goodies i think you could get about $4500.

these are rough figures, but you get the idea.
