time'n question???

i installed a cs time'n key. my question is, what will your motor do or sound like if the time'n is of????? i installed the key right. so will there be any way that the time'n was thrown off???

The whole point of the key is to alter the timing. Your timing will be advanced, which tends to make an engine run hotter. If you are running regular or mid-grade fuel, your bike may ping a little because of the extra heat. If it does, running a good, name brand super unleaded should help. There is no way to change the timing by moving the pick-up. The only way to change ignition timing on the 400ex is to do what you just did, change the position of the flywheel by installing an advance key. The only other way to change any aspect of ignition timing would be to change the curve by installing a different CDI box.
