Ha, thats funny. The only bikes you see with Fullbore are race bikes/fast dune/drag bikes. 85% of them have aftermarket pipes. My 3 sets haven't got burned yet...and they are all on aftermarket piped-bikes.

put some heat resistent tape where it is burning it. this should prevent any further damage.

i have maier and love them no sagging what so ever and got a tight sticker kit and seat cover heres some pics.. i spent a total of 350 for my plastics and sticker kit and seat cover, now ur gonna spend like 500 dollars just for a front and rear fender withfullbore no seatcover, stickers, come on now... u decide what would look better.. or sounds better.. 400 for what i got or 500 for a plain ol' bike...http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid114/pba6b5976c3e72f47e74cbc38a80b1bf6/f8d6ae0d.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid114/p4948e83f759f5c570d5982f32ae6e38d/f8e1ee3e.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid114/pd5aa9fd911e3a52e43448f37f14ceaf5/f8d6ae33.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid114/pede973cbb3371701e7cf453cfb0d55b4/f8d6ae1a.jpg

Your quad looks great man, but what I like about the fullbore is the doing away of the headlight. If you have done any racing and serious MX those maier will not hold up near as well. Fullbore are thicker and seem to flex better. My brother has maier and I love them but they sag alot, just because yours are new doesnt mean they wont sag, overtime they will. im not ripping on maier, just giving a little more input to help other peoples decision.

I just purchased a silver Fullbore plastic set with a Golden West Cycle Duncan Racing graphic set. It will be on in a few weeks. I will take some pics and throw em on here when it's done. Reaper:)

The only problem I have seen was with a set of LTE Dual Exhausts. The left side melted in the usual place but it's not Fullbore's problem, they didn't anticipate the dual setup. My silvers have had no issues with my DMC setup.

i have a full set of maier and the fronts are fine, but there also race cut, so that takes off the "leverage" in the front. and the rears.. well they are reallly floppy.. but not really saggy...lol

Doesn't everyone know that Maiers' quality is sooo far behind Fullbore???? I guess everyone has an opinion. I guess. Reaper:rolleyes:

How much does the fullbore cost?

REAPER

I paid $275.00 for a silver race-cut front, one-piece [no tank cover included] and $275 for the one-piece rear+ shipping. I have seen both and Full-bore is superior...hands down. Get some Reaper

Fullbore makes some awesome quality Fenders, and I also think Laker Custom is coming on strong with some cool stuff also.

I agree, Laker-custom seems to have a great product but when I e-mailed them , they took way too long and I had allready went with Fullbore. Thats who gets my business, the one who responds promptly. I must have e-mailed em like 5 times without hearing back, Oh well, Fullbore it is!!:)
