Yup......HMF is top quality. Great power gains, But it's LOUD w/out the q-core. As good or better than the ones that cost more $ . I love mine.

I got a buddy with a 03 Z400 and yoshi slip-on. If I take my q-core out, you'll hear mine over his;)..and , Yes the q-core will quiet it down a bunch..

my cosuin has a hmf pipe on his 400ex and he loves it. i havent got a chance to ride it yet but it seems to have helped out alot. it is loud but sounds very sweet. its louder than my ct pipe.

it cracked on him like 8-10 times already he has said and had to get it welded...he prolly got a lemon

I have already got the damn thing welded up once, and it has cracked all over again. I am just leaving it cracked, and gonna ride until the thing falls off. Mom and dad said they would get me an HMF for an early b-day present....so it doesn't really matter:)

Does anyones bike that has a full system HMF run like **** with the quite core in it. does it need re jetted with it in? just wondering. what about with the spark arrested havnt tested it yet. thanks

you will probably need to re-jet with the quiet core in it. It will be making it richer, I would guess. Try to re-jet and see what happens:)
