My stock 400EX bearing carrier got broken yesterday afternoon:grr: , so it's time to get a replacement. I was looking at the RAD bearing carriers, and they look nice. I like the idea of the remote side grease fitting. Anyone have any experience with these carriers? Is there any other brands out there that are a "bang for the buck"?

$110 shipped

and the carriers with the greasable zerk off to the side are kinda pointless. you cant get grease past the seals and into the carrier. and if they have a channel for it to pass by the bearing seal you cant get it uniformly into the area it needs to be:p stick with a traditional dual row carrier;)

$110 shipped?! Does that come w/bearings, seals, the whole nine? If so, point me where to get the Burgard carrier. Also, does it have any kind of warranty? Had experience w/their carriers? Thanks a lot Pappy!

they come complete all you have to do is grease it when you recieve it.

try calling C&D Racing (our site sponsor) or Burgard direct both are the same price.

I have a RAD and it is a nice piece. I would have gone with the Burgard, but they don't make one for the c-dale's. :grr: Pick up the Burgard, you won't be disappointed.

I have a RAD tapered carrier on my Banshee and it is the best. Haven't had a single problem with it, except getting it adjusted correctly when I installed it. Once it is set, it is just great, it is the best one I have used.

I have a Lonestar twinrow on a 250R threewheeler, and it works great, no problems with it. I also have a Helms twinrow for my 250R quad, which I haven't installed yet, it looks like a quality piece.

Pappy,

I just ordered a Burgard carrier from C&D and they charged me $150 not $110.

Are you sure you are right on that price

Thanks

I bought a Burgard dual row carrier from the Quadshop (FYI: very nice to deal with). It was a little more than $110 after I paid 6% KY sales tax and all, but still an awesome deal. No matter what you paid, you'll be very happy with Burgard's carrier.;)

I 've got a Rad carrier in my ex: the grease fitting type is much easier to maintain, I remove all the little rubber side covers to allow the grease to make across. I run burgard in my R and when you need bearings you use american made high quality GM compressor bearings from the local auto store they are about 20.00 each but they are better to handle big motors.
