440ex topspeed

what is the fastes someone has got a 440 to go

mines could go way fast if I geared it up but its geared down for torque and it has a LOT of it.

Got everything for an aftermarket carb for it motor wise and she flys. Also just put on a wb rev box and it made a HUGE differance in power and it revs so much more quicker. I would of never of thought my 400 could of been so fast.

when my 416 wiseco11-1 ,wb rev box, cam ,valve job,port and polish,mickey dunlop oil cooler,K&n,no air lid, dyno jets, was working good it would do 76 mph im getting 440 and eldelbrock carb

With the gearing im at now(16/38), about 85 without my revbox. I just have to get a new battery, and drop down to a 36 or 34 tooth rear sprocket, the guy who had my motor before me was clocked around 105 with it with that setup...

With a 17 tooth sprocket on the front, and 34 on the rear, I was clocked doing 110 mph on my Raptor... :rolleyes: Now I need new axle bearings...

i dont think i could believe that raptor or that 440 doing over 100 mph , do you acually know how fast that is on a quad , a stock 400 does maybe 66-67 tops

over 100mph isnt that special, i saw a fairly stock raptor (except for pipe and 10 shot of n2o) run 110 next to a grand prix gtp

It's all about the gearing and if your motor has the power to pull the high gears..

well if my 416 does 98 mph then a 440 must do like double that...:eek2: :eek2:
