:mad: my 400ex is makin me so F***ing MAD: i was changing the oil and when i took the bolt out to get the oil out of the oil tank it stripped. then i take the oil filter bolts off and the long one is bent to hell. and i was goin to take the one by the shifter off and it stripped. i just want to sell it.

Don't forget the torque spec on that tank drain bolt is 14lb.. Use a torque wrench and you won't have that problem. Not trying to be rude in any way.............just so many people over torque those drain bolts, and sounds like the same happened to the filter cover bolt. Take it easy there Hecules!;)

staunton is about 20 minutes south of litchfield and 30 minutes north of edwardsville. not sure how else to explain it...

Dude, I could see your point if the "one bolt" was on the handlebars or held the palstic on, but we're talkin' major component here....

Oh yeah, let us know how you feel about yours when you're rebuilding the entire overengineered front end on that Predator after a year.... LOL

Um, most bolts on Japanese model ATVs are the same..... aren't they? So it wouldn't really be because it's your 400ex. It has the same bolts as a yamaha or suzuki, so just chill man.;)

Why don't you unload it on some sucker and then you would have a fat purse!!!!!!!!!!
