~~idaho State Series Mx Round 2 Pics~~

This wk end is Round 2 of the Idaho MX series held at Pleasant Valley MX Track in Boise Idaho...I was there for the Day to get some pics of Troy racing the Predator. Since his Injury last fall on this track(he borke his wrist dbl. in th whoops sectin, he has decided to go ahead and run B class for the time being plus he has had no seat time on the Motorcross for this season until today...
This year, the track has decided to reverse the track:grr: which looked to me as if it threw the riders off on a few tabletops and the whoops you cant dbl for nothing anymore...:( Im sue this robbed them all of endurance for sure!!:eek2: I have a TON of pics to post and some of them for once turned out good!!!:blah: :D All in all, even though Troy wasnt happy with how he rode his first day back on MX(he had a He!! of a time getting his new steering stabilizer Dialed in)......He still took home a 1st place Trophy .....Anyhow, heres the pics!!!:cool: WAY TO GO TROY!!!!:macho

I talked to Craig, He said he stalled it 4 times in the main. I think he mite need to switch to a badger so he doesnt have to mess with a clutch and gears!

Trust me...They were NOT happy about having Quads out there!!:( But we threw a stink at the OMC meeting,since this is a State Series,they HAVE to let us ,so for once we got our way:D At least OMC is Quad friendly.......

Well bfore I go racing again I need to put a new clutch in mine and some rings in my rims so I don't monk them up. We are selling the mini van next week so may I will get that done. Hopefully it all won't be too expensive. I still need to give C&D a call about rings since my boss here at work said he would weld them in for free!!!!

Some of these guys were from Twin and two were the ones from the Blackfoot area(they raced winter flattrack once,not sure if you were here for that race) they are also exrider members.:) The guy one the yellow Z400 has never done a series before,and he kicked butt in the Pro class:eek2:

Why is it most motorcross tracks have something against quads? We had a track leased about a years ago with a few bikes and could tell when they rode, rutts in berms and holes in front and back of doubles! Not to mention all the smart@** comments about quads before we took lease on this track by all the motocrossers that were there.
I just dont understand the contempt for quads they have. Sat. the new owner of the track asked me and another quad to go "IRON IN " the track first thing so it would be smoother for the bikes.
Sorry about the long and venting post but i had a few drinks and couldnt stop, I think we should all be treated the same we all pay the same fee to race and same taste for mud!

I dont get it either:rolleyes: ....They actually saidthey DONT like us grooming it,tkaes away there lines they make andthey said we tear up there Berms ect.....Whatever.....We didnt do ANYTHING to them:grr: They had the quads out before the minis cause they like it smoothed I guess, the way I see it is were all in it for the same reason:confused:

I got ot ride Craigs YZF at OMC on sunday and that handles really good. I like the power that it puts out. The track was dry and rutted but better then a kick in the butt! I did some smaller doubles but I was very nervous about jumping. First time jumping since I shattered both wrists. After about 10 laps I started to feell better but I still lack confidence.
