Putting one on a stock motor wont do anything. All they are for is a high lift cam, that make the motor rev higher. I have a 254 grind, web cam in my 300 and on top end it bumps the rev limiter. But I called around to pro-fab and pow roll and they don't even offer the modded rev box anymore, they said the 300 will only hold 800 more rpm over the stock limit before it will break the rod. They had too many people putting the boxes on there stock motors and missing shifts and snapping rods, so they stopped doing it. Since the 300 isn't really considered a race quad anymore they said there was no need to continue the mod. They did say however if you had a built motor it was a great improvement, but not for a stocker. If you still think you need it, I'm almost positive sparks will still mod your CDI for 75 bucks.

If your looking into that motor, I would talk to bradley300. He has that kit in his 300 I'm sure he could tell you everything you need to know about it.

Oh yeah I guess i could explain why the rev box on the 300's are bunk. They aren't like 400's were you can raise the limiter. On the 300 you either have a limiter or you don't. That why if you miss a shift or something it just goes revs until the motor itself limits itself. And yes I have heard the GT 350 kit is pretty sweet, bradley300 was saying it is really fast for a 300.
