do i have to wait till the air filter is completly dry or just let it sit for and hour or too

you should,but if you aren't let it sit for 2 or 3 hrs then

Wiat until it completely dries, water and oil don't mix.

Let it dry completely, otherwise you risk having spots that aren't oiled properly.

Hey, If your wanting it to dry faster, use a piece of wire, and tie it to the front of a fan. They dry MUCH faster this way.

I always throw mine in the dryer for a little while to get it dry!!!

This why it's a good idea to have an extra filter. Foams are pretty cheap.

don't use an air compressor idiot! just go to like best buy and get one of those pressurized air cans that are used to blow out computer cases.. make sure you hold it really close when spraying it.. only like 3 bucks! :)

:rolleyes: All of you are future posters about dust in the intake boot, if you read the directions they explain why NOT to use compressed air or heat to dry the filter AIR DRY ONLY
