Just recently I have beaten a banshee(bored out to 3700 odd rpm), and a TRX450R with hrc kit. My mods are all down below and when I tell someone this there is no way they will belive me.
When racing the 450r both bikes hit the rev limiter in 5th(and this was before I installed the WB rev limiter). Not saying the banshee and 450R aren't great bikes but I need somebody to back me up on this.

Depending on what you were racing on, the Banshee could have been getting no traction. If it was asphalt...well, then the Banshee rider was really bad. The 450R is believable...but it must have been close?

We were on asphault, I dont think the driver was the problem because the bikes were going as fast as they could go and the 450r was kinda close, about 1 bike length, at least that is what the people watching said. Both very good races down low though.

are you saying the banshee hit a rev limiter or am i reading it wrong because banshees dont have a revlimiter i hate to tell you and the banshee should be able to walk away from both if it was bored out to a 370 and if the motor was built good or not

I dont know if the banshee was going very top speed. All I know is that the 450r hit the rev limiter, I think he was kind of dissapointed in the results. I'll try to post a video sometime just for proof, I just need to get someone to tell me how to post a movie.

Sorry, your right it was terrible. Here it is making sense this time. On asphault I beat the 450R(both hit rev limiter before I installed the WB rev limiter). There was two different people that drove the banshee, beat them both times(after WB rev limiter was installed), I dont know why I said I didn't know if he was going top speed, why would he hold back?. I wouldn't blame you guys if you all think I'm a complete idiot, oh well, if I knew how to post a video I would.:o :o

there is no way a 400ex can compete in a drag race with a banshee. no way unless that ride is holding way back.

There is ALOT of ways a 400ex can compete...A Banshee isn't god....of anything. Not top speed, drag racing, duning, climbing. Its not untouchable in any category.

Usually in the sand i only get to 4th gear on my 450r.

If your going all out top speed only then gearing would declare the winner.

Both bikes probably should have beat you. The 450r would be close. A 370 banshee would only loose if it had stock pipes... which would be retarded. It could have been running crappy or something. I know banshees arent untouchable ( i beat many lightly modded ones with my lightly modded 450r all the time). We need more info on that shee... Cool heads? Porting? Reeds? type of pipes? All of those make a giant difference.

no lol, I don't have any NOS and I'll try to find out what the shee has for all the mods, I may not find out all of them because the guy bought the bike used.
