YAMAHA YFZ450 LIMITED EDITION STOLEN
My brand new - never ridden Yamaha YFZ450 Limited Edition was stolen tonight April 2nd from the Pittsburgh area.

Please keep your ears open.

It's all black with black rims and a titanium colored frame.

I just bought the thing yesterday.

Thanks everybody for your advice.


I decided to do some detective work, and started asking around on my street. I ended up finding 2 different people that saw a group of kids pushing the quad up the street last night. I got names and everything and it is now in the hands of the police to make arrests.

The police found the quad at about 4:00 p.m today.

It is trashed. Remember, I never even rode it, and now it is trashed. Doesn't look like it was rolled, but it's covered in mud and the plastic is trashed. I'm sure I'll get the shaft from the insurance, but hopefully they'll come through.

I will be getting a lawyer to sue if they find the kids that stole it.

very nice.. For some reason i had a gut feeling before i read the second page that you got it back.. im glad you did.. sue the hell out of the parents... make them feel terrible and then with that money buy another yfz and a pitbull that will tear anything open that goes in the garage passed 11pm!!

im always worried about some basterd stealing my kfx...but i got insurance and i can just get a new one....one question..if it was stolen would i get to keep my old kfx if it was found and what about all my parts?would i get money for them 2

if it was stolen and they gave you money, when it is found they would sell it at auction. How do you have it insured? as in a certain amount or the retail value. If it is stolen they may only give you a few grand. I will have mine insured for like 5 grand.
