Anyone know where I can get a crf450 engine?

I need one. Like is there any local dealers that has one, or salvage yards with a recked 450. I called K&K ATV. Just if anyone has ANY ideas where? I have been lookin on e-bay...

cheapest way is go buy a bike... take the motor and then resale the rest of the bike... u can get crfs for 3grand now and sell the rest for 1500...

i have an extra CRF450 motor and everything sittin in the garage... it is already spoken for but if something comes up i'll let you know.. but the best way to go is buy the whole bike. that is what i did when i built my crf quad. that way you can ride it, see how the motor runs, and looking at overall condition of the whole bike may tell how the motor was ran/maintained..
