Does anybody take the time to check piston to valve clearance?

I got my JE 416 piston installed. I am also putting in a HotCams stage I.

The new JE piston has deeper valve cuts than the stock piston.

I don't have any clay on hand. I will probably go get some and check the clearance, unless somebody knows if there is PLENTY 'O ROOM with this setup.

BTW; Uh, um, ah, does the 416 require a new sleeve? I thought it was just a bore to get to 416?

you can bore it out to a 426 before you need to resleeve, personally i have never checked the clearance, couldnt hurt tho
