Simpsons in trouble?

Someone at work was telling me that fox wants 30 episodes a year and they cant produce that much with the budget that they are on and they may have to cancel it. I dont know how true this is though?? I do know it costs an avg. of 2 mil per simpsons episode.

I heard on the radio today the reason for them having probs.... The "actors" (voices) of the Simpsons are going the way of professional sports, and each want some astronomical amount of $$$ per episode. Never fails. Greed seems to get to everybody eventually. DOOOOH!

No dnag it i watch them everynight at 6:00 and then at 7:00. I sure hope thats not true.

Forget those greedy voice actors. The ones who want more cash, can 'em and get new actors to lend their voice. Fox is messing up by getting rid of The Simpsons. That show is one of only a few good things the network has. I do love That 70's Show!:D

i read something on it, the actors want more money, they will probably do it though. The actors did the same thing back in 97-98.

I can probably count on one hand how many times I have watched the Simpsons. I guess I really never understood what all the hype was about the show. But if they are wanting 2 million per episode they should be hit real hard:rolleyes:

i used to watch the simpsons 2 years ago, havnt watched an episode since.

family guy rules, its so funny, i dont stop laughing every episode.

i forgot about that 80s show, i think it was stupid. that 70s is way funnier/better.

bob and margret is just like king of the hill, they both suck, arent even funny, i never once got a "heh" out of either one. they should cancel both. i know this kid in my class that looks like con though lol he always says "hannnk, hank heel, you steel my lawn mowwa!, haaaank heel!". now thats funny i dont care who yerr :).

i dont watch drama tv anymore, like 8 simple rules etc.

i like family guy, cops, horsepower tv, the guy stuff.

family guy does own, i cant wait till it comes back. The actors in the simpsons are paid 125 grand an episode. 2 mil isnt even that horrible, family guy and episodes like that can go up to 1.5 mill per episode, the only reason simpsons is more is because its probably one of the most popular tv shows off all time and all of the celebrities that guest star.
