I've heard alot of people saying that they have had the welds cracking on their e-series silencers. Are you refering to the S-bend or pro meg?? I just bought and installed an S-bend silencer and am very pleased with the power gains, however I will be considerably less pleased if it falls off my quad. Any input is appreciated.

I haven't had any trouble yet...but I am still learning to jump. We'll see.

I have heard that the e-series had some wield problems a year ago myself but I have not had any problems with mine and was told that they fixed that some problem with if falling off.

Mine broke off completely where the pipe meets the cone. They added that little weld tab on the newer ones. I had mine re-welded, so far so good after a year.

I have one of the newer ones with the brackets and it also cracked...got it welded and about 6 months later it cracked ALL over again. I have posted this picture about 20 times, but its all I have to show where it cracked last time. This time it cracked in about the same places.

I did. I sawed off the piece of upper mount that goes through the subframe and reinstalled the original rubber mount. I had to do a little shimming to get the fit just right, but now it's mounted firmly but with a little flex. I did this while I had my pipe off to fix the cracks:p So far, so good.

Do the other slipon companys use a ridged mount like WB or the stock rubber mount?
