HRC without cam?

I just received my HRC kit today....finally. I don't have time to install the cam before my race this weekend. I was wondering if I can install everything else in the kit and run it this weekend. Thanks for the help.:)

You could but the jetting would be way off. The cam doesn't take all that long to install. That is kinda the heart of the kit. without that you probably won't get much for gains. I'd either do it all now or just wait and do it all later.

Well I took your advice and went for the whole thing. It was alot easier than I thought. I really took my time and it still went pretty fast. Thanks.

I ran it this weekend and was very happy with it. Mid and top end were unbelievable. I raced a track that had some long straights and that was where I made most of my passes. The low end is still less than I would like, but I'll run a 13tooth sprocket on the tight tracks to make up for it. Thanks for the help. Can anyone also let me know how I put what I have on the bottom of this message without typing it everytime?
