Denton Steering Stabilizer Question???

How you tell if a Denton Steering Stabilizer is rebuildable or not by just looking at it in person??

the rebuildable ones are silver, and the non-rebuildable are black.

the one I bought is silver & the kid said it was non rebuildable when i bought it :confused: I got it for like $30 shipped & it was barely used
