vortex CDI?...good or bad?

anyone use a vortex cdi? If so how is it?

Do they make one for the 400ex yet? I heard from someone that they don't make them for a 400.

they aren't out yet. they told me that they have been pushed back because of a flywheel mod with the 400ex and also since the 450r came out

they are deffenately out, but it depends on who you talk to. Like the guy i deal with for that, is direct with vortex. He has one on order for me, but the cost $$$! They retail at like 450 or somthing, but i can get mine for 350.

are you sure it is a vortex??? i talked to vortex themselves and duncan (help tune/test vortex boxes for vortex) and both said they were not out for a 400ex. i know the dyna an msd both make boxes that are out for the 400ex. i actually think they do make another brand but i am not sure what it is. does the brand vortech exist?? i am not sure.

They are flat out Awesome and worth the money on our Predator,I have been very curious about one for the EX. Any date given on when they will be ready to sell????

I will find out what is going on. The guy who builds my quads, builds some of duncan's also. He is the owner of atv inovations, and is travis cains mechanic, and a Lot more top pro's mechanic's also. He is the one getting it for me. He is really good friends with lauren duncan. I will find out for sure tomorrow or so, and let you know for a deffinate!

yeah, let us know. both duncan and vortex couldn't tell me a definate date when i asked.
