yeah it looks cool but where are the lights and where is the key at? ive seen these front ends all over the place for sale and i cant ever seem to get someone to tell me where to relocate the key and what to do about the headlights. i know they make the aftermarket lights from laser star (i think thats who makes them....i dont know right now im not thinking too much) and ive thought about getting them.

my ideal setup would be just like the one above with the smaller handlebar mounted headlights on it. maybe add the speedometer/odometer from rockymountian atv.


so if anyone knows where to relocate the key and headlights since i still RIDE my quad on the trials and dunes AT NIGHT.

Sounds like you already answered your own question on the lights.

A little aluminum mount that goes on the bar clamp comes with the plastic for the key and neutral light. But if you flip, and do it a certain way, your key assembly can be broken. It happened to mine, but it lasted about a year. There is another one, that I think comes with the Maier, that seems like a safer idea. Not sure if you can keep your neutral light though.

so your saying that the clamp for the headlights on the bars has a spot on it to put the key switch at? if thats so i just have one more question....

which headlight clamp has the spot for the key switch on it?

I dont think any of the headlight clamps do, its a piece that comes with the fullbores for the neutral light and key switch, not hte headlights.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION : All models MUST specify Race Cut or Full Fenders, and are considered special order if they have any particulars such as; NO-KICK Indentation or tank covered. We no longer offer a head-lighted version on the 250 R and the 400 EX, and are suggesting that the "Trail-Tech" lighting system be incorporated to the Œ88 & Œ89 Honda 250 R bikes as well as the 400EX bikes. All models include mounting hardware kits, except the Banshee which uses the stock brackets.
