if u ride ruff trails maybe 23's in the fronty and 22's in the back.
but if u dont ride that hard u can use 21's in the front and 20's in the back.

Unless you want to go to beadlock wheels, I'd stick with the stock Honda wheels, and of course if you do that you'll have the stock offset. Without spending a lot of money for new wheels, the stock Honda wheels are about the toughest you'll find for XC type riding.

As for tires, if you ride where there's a lot of big rocks or you ride in a lot of mud, then you might prefer 23" fronts and 22" rears. For most riding though, 21" fronts and 20" rears will provide more precise handling and have less roll in the corners. Although many of my friends think I do foolish things from time to time, I run the 21F/20R combo even when it's muddy and rocky, I just pick my lines a bit more carefully:D

just plop down the bucks and get hipers they are great i got 10x5 fronts with 4-1 offset and 9x9 rears with 5-4 offset and i run 23 razr 2 in front and 22 razr 2 in rear it is really your choice but that is what i got i also run +1 aarms and stock axle you dont want to be too wide for xc or even trail for that matter stock honda wheeels are very good wheels even if some people dont like them i ran them for years and have never had a bead pop loose just my 2 cents jon
