I have a 2001 300ex not many mods only a K&N airfilter and outterware and a FMF pipe. It has pretty good throttle response but I want it to come up w/o me having to pull on it in 3rd gear. What can I do?

It will even come up in 4th w/o pulling on the bars, that is with a 1.5" over swingy too:eek2:
If nothing else just put a high comp. piston in it. The higher comp will give you a little more low end grunt.

I'd go w/ a higher comp piston like Jonesy said if you don't want to spend the $$ for a big bore kit!! I putin a Wiseco high comp 75.5mm in mine & it'll pull the front tires off the ground in 1st thru 4th or 5th :D :D getting ready now to put in my new Wev cam stage 3 & hardened rockers in as soon as they get here:blah: :blah: QJ will tell ya mine doesn't do too bad she's seen it in action on tape :D
