If you like wrenching on quads ALL the time get the dale.

If you like puttin gas in the quad, beatin the hell out of it, sprayin it off and puttin it up until next race. Get the 400ex..

The dale is by far faster but requires A LOT more attention off the track.

The Dales don't take anymore maintenance than any other race quad! Just clean the air filter and change the oil.

If you do get the cdale...please do the necessary maint. on it. I know a few people that don't and they want to blame the quad for their problems. All we need is another cdale basher.

For sure get a C-Dale man. They are way faster and have way more balls then a 400. (no affence to EX riders, sorry dont want to affend you)

Ex's are reliable for one reason, they're tuned down before they're shipped off. Once you start getting into internal engine work, that sweet ex reliability goes down the crapper. I'm not bashing ex's in any way, it right now it is my bike of choice but the dales will simply give more performance. With all the updates the cannondales reliability will be 2nd to none, except a STOCK ex. Get the updates, and ride her hard. Oh, I'm not saying a modded ex won't still be reliable just not as reliable as stock, it all depends on the owner.
