FInally, make sure you get a larger pilot jet with the powerbong. I had to go up 1 size with mine.

Wow you sent your pipe way out here to Washington to get coated:eek2: Your right the guys at performance coatings do great work. The coat sandrail headers for a client of mine and man the look sweet. They will get my business when its time to coat my headpipe.

I contacted the guys at performance coating to see about mine and they said to have it done with chromex it would be 75 and if you want satin color coating it is 60. I am thinking I am going to get mine done in the chromex. looks like highly polished aluminum!!

He he,,,, You guys are funny...:D

I had to go up 1 size on the pilot jet when I installed the header pipe. Coating had nothing to do with it.. I didn't feel any power increase after the coating but i'm sure it lowered temps a little and it makes cleaning the head pipe a peice of cake.

the powerbomb did quiet the exhuast a little, don't expect to be sneaky pete with it on there. LOL I also did feel a power increase from top to bottom.

Yeah i sent it all the way out there. And i am very happy i did. If i had a digital camera i would have taken a before and after picture. Before was a junky, rusty CRF header and they chromexed my header, heatsheild, and midpipe. It looks awsome.

Well worth the money on coating the header. Like Rico says it makes it much easier to clean. It kinda funny. The quad can have a coat of mud and chit on it after a day of riding and the only thing that stands out is the shinny header
