If I get 20s should I change gearing?

I have 22 inch rear tires on my 250x and am going to put on a set of 400ex radials on. I was going to acctually lower the front sprocket by one tooth to get more torque(13 to 12). Should i go ahead and get a new sproket or keep the gearing the same the 20s will give me more torque right?

I would go back to stock gearing if you got 20's. You would be geared close to where you are now.
