View Full Version : what exhaust for the TRX 450R ?

Hey everyone, I just recently bought a Honda TRX 450R and so far I have put a HRC kit on it. I need a pipe ! What pipe do yall recommend ? I race Harescrambles and ride Trails. I only have about $ 500.00 to spend on a pipe. Any help would be greatly appreciated. John.

I hear alot fo them Sparks are falling apart easy...

Welcome to the site! Being new you probably don't know about this but at the bottom of the screen is a search. Just by typing in the word "pipe" or "exhaust" will bring up any 450r specific thread with these words in it. Just figured I'd let you know before someone starts bustin' your balls about it. There's lots of good info on this site you just gotta search for it. L8ter.

I have HRC kit and Sparks Stainless Exhaust. I also hane Sparks air filter and 190 main jet with no lid. Didn't touch pilot jet or air screw. Runs great.

A friend of mine has a TC pipe and man alive does it put out a mean *** bark. Whew!

A little TC, K&N, and a rejet................plenty more grunt!:devil:

Personally, I would spend the money on suspension if you already have the HRC kit. I like the HRC kit exhaust mod. - sounds good but not too loud. For a pipe, I am going to look at HMF, GT Thunder, Curtis Sparks, and White Brothers when the time comes. I am leaning towards HMF.

I just put on a Ducan Racing Fat Boy 4 it looks awsome & fit & finish is perfect.Havent ran it yet cant wait!!
