View Full Version : Has anyone bought oil filters off ebay??? What do you use?

I was just looking at some of the lots of oil filters that guys are selling on ebay. You can buy 4 or 10 (or something like that) for a pretty reasonable price. Some of them advertised say they are Emgo filters. They show them not in the package so there is no way to tell if they are or not. The last thing I want is problems due to a cheap oil filter. Anyway I was just wondering if anybody has bought these or if I should keep clear??? Thanks in advance! I appreciate it!!

Haven't tryed those yet but, you can get Fram filters from your local auto parts store they even come with a new o-ring for the cover.

I always buy OEM oil filters for every motor I have.

The fram filters are the same qulaity as OEM

my local Advanced auto stocks them its part number :

I always get them from rocky mountain or dennis kirk, they usually have emgos for less than $3 each.

i might get one of those reusable oil filters pretty soon off ebay
